Beginner’s classes include all your materials including a hook.
Improver classes usually do not include a hook. Check the booking page for the required hook size that you’ll need to bring (I’ll also send out a reminder before the class).
Tea/coffee and biscuits are also included, please let us know of the booking form if you have any allergies.
Online after class support is provided.
Beginner’s classes are for complete beginners who have never crocheted before.
Improver classes assume you can happily make the UK double or treble crochet and then we build up your skills in the class.
Intermediate and advanced classes are for more confident crocheters.
Check the individual class booking page for the specific requirements for each session.
I usually have a maximum of six people per class. This allows lots of one-on-one attention to ensure you get the best from your class.
So am I! I can crochet with both hands, so I can show both left-handed and right-handed learners what to do in their preferred hand!
All attendees must be 12 years old or over.
Children between 12 and 16 must be accompanied by a participating (ticket-holding) adult.
Teenagers of 16 and above can attend on their own if they choose.
If you are looking for crochet/knitting classes for children younger than 12, I recommend Tracey at Craft Sum More who specialises in children's classes:

Through my years of teaching, I've found that 1 day classes are not the best way to learn to crochet. Learning a new skill is very tiring and after about 2-3 hours participants really start to struggle to concentrate. By splitting the class over 2 days, everyone stays fresh, meaning they can maximise what they can learn. Plus there is the added bonus of having a week in between to practise, allowing us to come back and troubleshoot in the second session!
If the buyer needs to cancel:
You can cancel via Eventbrite up to 30 days before the event with no penalty.
Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won't be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is cancelled.
If you need to cancel, please let me know as soon as you can so I can offer your ticket to somebody on the waiting list. All efforts will be made to re-sell your ticket, allowing you a full refund.
Closer to the event there is a sliding refund scale, depending on the proximity to the event. If a replacement buyer cannot be found, the refund is 50% between 30 & 14 days before the event with no refund within 14 days of the event.
If Fiona needs to cancel:
If the class is cancelled you will get a full ticket refund, including booking fee, or the option to transfer onto a later class.
Travel/accommodation expenses will not be refunded.
